about

In the Autumn of 2017, Albert entered a new chapter of life. With guitar and accordion in hand, Albert hit the road making appearances in living rooms, basements, the woods etc. From the humbling adventures of touring and the kind strangers taking a haunting burlap masked character into their home, Albert wanted to say thank you with a new album.

Albert teaming up with 'Visitors', developed a more refined and melancholy rendition of songs from previous albums such as ‘Straw’, ‘Curse’ and ‘Burlap’. A reimagined orchestral compilation album now made available cultivating the somber feelings of autumn for an all-year-round listening experience.

Track Name: Violet and Mildred
Violet and Mildred
Making the bed
Such a scream in their dreams
And their nightmares painted red
Violet and Mildred

Violet and Mildred
Claw at the sky
Fallen from heaven
You can see it in their eyes
Violet and Mildred
Will you turn out the light
Won't be forever
Or maybe just might?
I just need
To rest my head
Violet and Mildred

Violet and Mildred
Breaks bread with no one
Need only each other
Turn their backs till your gone...
Track Name: Till Death
Till death do us part
I vow to take you apart
Charm and charmed again
I don't want to be your friend
I'll stitch and I'll stab
And pull at your scabs
It's not the light of the moon
It's not who I am
Till death
Do us part

No voodoo could do
What I want to do with you
Not the date of my death
Or the lack of my breath
Even written in stone
I won't leave you alone
It's not the lock or the latch
It's not who I am
Till death
Do us part
Till death
Till death
Do us part...
Track Name: Excuse
Maybe I'll leave the house today
Maybe this day I'll behave
Does a cat got your tounge?
Are you sick as a dog?
Maybe this day I'll be dead wrong
Or maybe
It's just an excuse

Good company is hard to keep
My company I keep very brief
Not that mines good, quite contrary
Catch me off guard
My bones can't bare me
But of course
It's just an excuse

Shutters shackled shut
Doors doomed locked
Warily welcomed
And coo-coo
Around the clock

Maybe I'll leave the house today
Maybe this day I'll come out to play
Could I play fair?
Or curse all the rules?
Childish or not or just questionably cruel?
But always
It's just an excuse
Track Name: No More Room
There’s no more room
For nightmares
But every nightmare
Needs a home
You can’t deny
They are out there..

There’s no more room
For nightmares
In a city they never sleep
In a city they never dream
With no dreams
How could I survive there
When their nightmares
Flood the gutters and the streets..

There’s no more room
For nightmares
Every vacancies been filled
They don’t care if I get killed
They say it’s a burden
That I must bear
But it’s a blessing to me...

There’s no more room
For nightmares
They say to harvest them
In my head
To poison my crops
To be sure to top them off..

There’s no more room
For nightmares
Is it because I
Forget to say my prayers
With such little time to live
I have a gift I want to give
My nightmares
My nightmares

There's no more room
For nightmares
There's no room
For nightmares
No more room
For nightmares
There's no more room...
Track Name: Chase Out The Dead
Chase out the dead
But what part will you shed
What's the last thing I said?
You're cute when you,
Cute when you cringe

Will it be flowers in a sack?
Or the skin of my back?
Is it confidence I lack?
Well I'm damned if thats true
What drags you my dear?
My vows, do you fear?
Not charming as I appear

What do you dread?
What do you dread?

Monsters in your head
They sleep in your bed
Just chase out the dead
You're cute when you,
Cute when you cringe
You're cute when you,
Cute when you cringe

What do you dread?
What do you dread?
Track Name: In The Straw
Standing in the straw
Watching them all
Sharing the one thing I lack
Who will abide
To be by my side
When I'm out here
In the straw

Rustle in the leaves
Leading me to believe
Maybe I aint that alone
Its a whisper I can hear
Though no flesh appears
Cause I'm out here on my own
In the straw

Crack, crackle in their fire
Conjuring this desire
To share their communal poison
Their cackles flood the air
Blood envy in my stare
Watching them
Through the straw

Uncertain is the night
Uncertain who might
Toss their bone to the coals
Who dare speaks my name
Is who dare takes the blame
Don't give me a reason to
Leave the straw

In the straw
Oh in the straw
Ignorance is bliss so stay this
In the straw
Oh in the straw

Watching them all
Oh watching them all
In the straw
Oh in the straw
Track Name: Cliche
When you’re tired and old
And there’s not much to talk about
With lots of wrinkled love letters
Only so much is allowed
When better days come
The worst thing to do is to keep me in mind
Because mine was lost, I don’t regret the knots I tied
And the ones we unwind,
We unwind

If cliches are for the cliche,
Then why was our first
Our last

Young and able but disabled
By fall fables guilt
But winter came, still the same
Frame by frame only this time felt
And sin for skin, I don’t regret the touch
And the trembles
Sensitive and senseless, in love
And seemingly helpless

If cliches are for the cliche,
Then why was our first
Our last

No harm done
But there was blood
No breath at all
But if I do, I’ll breathe it with you
October shine creepin' in
But I don’t think it should
No love at all
But it feels fine

If for better or worse,
Must be worse before it gets better
Later or now, it doesn’t matter then, only how
Only how

If cliches are for the cliche,
Than why was our first...
Track Name: Curse
What lies
Within me
Is within you
Can't breath
Can't die
Can't you?

Fingers forever crossed
Luck never lost
With a whisper and a curse...

Close your
Eyes
Make a wish
Aim high
Aim near
Don't you miss
Your faith
Misplaced
Try again
Forgive me
Forgive you
Try again

Fingers forever crossed
Luck never lost
With a whisper and a curse
I wish you a
Goodnight...
